Stone Zoo Celebrates Irish Heritage Month

St. Patty’s Day may only come around once a year, but this March, Stone Zoo makes the spirit of St. Patrick last all month long! Bring family and friends to the Zoo every Saturday in March for fantastic cultural activities and experiences including folklore and legends, Irish step dancing, Gaelic football, and scavenger hunts. Animals partake in the fun with green-themed enrichment!

    March 3
11:00 AM – 11:30 AM: Children’s Irish folktales with Big Joe the Storyteller in the Animal Discovery Center.

    March 10
11:00 AM & 12:00 PM: Step dance performance by O’Shea-Chaplin School of Irish Dance.

    March 17 (St. Patrick’s Day)
Learn about snakes and how they relate to the legend of St. Patrick with Stone Zoo’s educators.

    March 24
