    Sneak Preview Salon Recital

     Enjoy a night of outstanding chamber music by one of Boston’s premiere ensembles, Dialogue!

    “Three cellists walk into a bar….”
    Bet you haven’t heard that one before. In this concert, we have a program exploring music written for this unusual combination. The cello is often people’s favorite instrument. And for good reason! The instrument’s luscious sounds and human-sounding voice has drawn listeners throughout history. The program offers music from various eras in classical music and will surely satisfy the appetite of all cello lovers.

    Marin Marais: Suite for Three Viols (arr. R. Popper-Keiser)
    Robert Volkmann: Andante with variations
    David Popper: Requiem for three cellos and piano
    Astor Piazzolla: Cafe 1930 (arr. R. Popper-Keiser)
    Venezuelan songs (arr. A. Rivas)

    Tickets are $45 for this one time special event!
    Cash wine bar & light hors d’oeuvres.
