The Beginnings School in Weston, at 210 South Ave., will host the “Goodbye Winter” Festival on March 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This fun-filled event is open to all families and will feature activities including a friendly visit by a Eurasian owl, cute wallaby and “honey bear” kinkajous with Animal Adventures; an upbeat drumming session with an acclaimed show by Rhythm Kids; ice painting and snowmen sculpting in Masterpieces in Ice; and Scimagination (where science meets imagination) activities.
