    PROGRAM
    Celebrating John Cage’s 100th, Part I
    John Cage: Apartment House 1776
    Earle Brown: Available Forms I
John Zorn: For Your Eyes Only

For contemporary music fans, the year 2012 means one thing: John Cage’s 100th birthday. In celebration of the composer who changed music forever, the Callithumpian Consort presents a series of three concerts, each featuring music by three composers: Cage, one of his contemporaries in the New York School, and a third composer profoundly influenced by Cage’s discoveries. Two concluding programs in fall 2012 will include music by Cage, Morton Feldman, Luigi Nono, and others.
