Try To Remember: A Look Back At Off-Broadway

Rita Gardner, The Girl from the original Broadway production of The Fantasticks, will perform her original one-woman show, “Try to Remember: A Look Back At Off-Broadway” in a one-time only benefit performance for the Fiddlehead Theatre Company, on Thursday, April 26.
“Try to Remember: A Look Back At Off-Broadway” features numbers from not only shows she appeared in, but other outstanding musicals and songs of Off-Broadway. The show’s highlights include a medley of over a dozen songs that originated in Off-Broadway shows, including Hair, Godspell, Little Shop of Horrors and A Chorus Line. In this lovingly assembled program, the charm and creative energy of Off-Broadway of that period is told: incredibly talented, underpaid actors performing in works by clever writers in spaces no larger than the average bedroom.
“Try to Remember: A Look Back At Off-Broadway” plays one performance only at the Fiddlehead Theatre Company, 619 High St, Dedham, MA 02026, on Thursday, April 26th at 7:00 pm.
