    Distinguished watercolorist Carolyn Latanision will be guest artist of the Newton Art Association and demonstrate her use of the medium at 7:30 pm on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at the Newton Senior Center, 345 Walnut Street in Newtonville.     Distinguished watercolorist Carolyn Latanision will be guest artist of the Newton Art Association and demonstrate her use of the medium at 7:30 pm on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at the Newton Senior Center, 345 Walnut Street in Newtonville. Ms. Latanision is a member of The National Watercolor Society among others and has received many awards nationally. She has been featured in many publications and art magazines and is included in over 30 collections. People and architecture figure prominently in Latanision’s work and in both cases urban scenes are frequently depicted. The public is cordially invited to this free demonstration. Doors open at 7:00 pm and refreshments will be served.
