    The Shins play the Citi Performing Arts Center Wang Theatre on Friday, May 4th in support of their new album Port of Morrow.

    After a five-year hiatus, The Shins, an American indie rock band founded and fronted by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, James Mercer, are back with a new lineup and one of the year’s most anticipated new albums, “Port of Morrow,” set to release in the U.S. on March 20. The band released their first track from the new album "Simple Song" earlier this year.

    The band’s fourth album, “Port of Morrow,” comes five years after The Shins’ Grammy-nominated album “Wincing the Night Away” entered the Billboard 200 at No. 2. The Wang Theatre show will feature James Mercer leading a Shins lineup of Yuuki Matthews (bass), Jessica Dobson (guitar), Richard Swift (keyboards) and Joe Plummer (drums).
