Presented by at Eliot School of Fine and Applied Arts

    July 7 - July 8, 2012

    Creative Box Making

Co-sponsored with North Bennet Street School

Doug Stowe raises box making to an art. The author of Simply Beautiful Boxes and Taunton’s Complete Illustrated Guide to Box Making, he has been making boxes with a passion since 1976. Making boxes requires greater precision than most general woodworking. Learn techniques to attain that precision, with a variety of sleds, miters, jigs, crosscutting, stop blocks, lids, hinges and joints. You will go home with an elegant box and many new skills. Pre-requisite: Basic Woodworking or equivalent experience. Limit 12 students
