BEN FOLDS TO HOST “A CAPPELLA PALOOZA” APRIL 29 AT AGGANIS ARENA

One Night Performance Brings NBC’s Acclaimed Music Show “The Sing-Off” To Boston for High-Energy, Captivating Celebration of A Cappella; Event Benefits the Mass General Cancer Center

Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center (Mass General Cancer Center) has coordinated the first-ever A Cappella Palooza with its sponsors that will feature performers from NBC’s acclaimed music show “The Sing-Off”.

The event will be hosted by Ben Folds, a judge on “The Sing-Off” and former frontman and pianist of the alternative rock-band Ben Folds Five that is currently reuniting. Folds will perform at the benefit concert along with four of the show’s finest acts, including 2011 season winner Pentatonix, the Dartmouth Aires, Delilah, and the Massachusetts-based group The North Shore. Boston University’s Dear Abbey’s will also appear as a special guest. “The Sing-Off” Executive Producer Sam Weisman is producing the event.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Mass General Cancer Center.
