    One of the greatest comedic actors of our generation, Steve Martin is also a renowned author, art collector, playwright, highly-trained banjo player and songwriter! He joins the Boston Pops for his orchestral debut, and brings with him the Steep Canyon Rangers, winners of the IBMA's Emerging Talent Award. Selections include songs from his Grammy Award-winning album The Crow, his most recent release Rare Bird Alert, and a few surprises along the way. The first half of the concert will include Copland's Outdoor Adventure and Prairie Night and Celebration from Billy the Kid.

    *The May 29th concert will feature the winners of the 2012 Fidelity Investments Young Artists Competition.
