    What can educators learn from the efforts to rebuild New Orleans schools? Has the city’s development of a choice-based, predominantly charter system benefited all children? This forum stems from the Harvard Educational Review Summer 2011 article, Race, Charter Schools, and Conscious Capitalism: On the Spatial Politics of Whiteness as Property (and the Unconscionable Assault on Black New Orleans), and will explore the past five years of education reform efforts in New Orleans.
