    Boston National Poetry Month Festival

    More than 50 established and emerging poets will perform in this always-popular event. Highly visible poets include: Richard Hoffman (Emerson College); Regie Gibson (U.S. Nat'l Poetry Slam winner); Kathleen Spivack; January O'Neil (Salem State U.); Fred Marchant (Suffolk U.); C.D. Collins (poet/vocalist/bandleader), Doug Holder, and Boston Poet Laureate Sam Cornish. Other highly talented poets: Mignon Ariel King; Chad Parenteau; Lucy Holstedt (Berklee College of Music); Gloria Mindock; Zvi Sesling, and Spare Change News Poetry Editor Marc Goldfinger--to name a few. Also reading will be prize-winning students from Boston Arts Academy, Boston Latin High School, Milton Academy, and more. There will also be an OPEN MIC. (NOTE: thanks to the generous support of The Middle East Restaurant--and many others.)
