Harvard Playwrights' Festival
April 19 - April 22, 2012
Initiated by playwright and Briggs-Copeland Lecturer Christine Evans, the Annual Playwrights' Festival presents staged readings of plays by undergraduate writers. These plays come from Evans' Advanced Playwriting workshop, and they are developed in collaboration with professional directors and graduate dramaturges from the A.R.T./MXAT Institute. The year's festival also features an acting company of both student and professional actors. Please come enjoy this exciting collaboration between rising undergraduate playwrights and the wider theater community! Admission is free and all readings will take place in the Farkas Hall (formerly New College Theater) Studio at 10-12 Holyoke St, Cambridge. Please visit HRDCTheater.com for a full listing of play synopses and further information.
