The Composer Portraits series from the Miller Theater at Columbia University returns to the Gardner Museum with the Music of Kaija Saariaho as performed by the International Contemporary Ensemble. The Ensemble presents its "sizzling account" (New York Times) of Finnish Composer Kaija Saariaho's otherworldly music, which earned rave reviews and enthusiastic ovations in New York.
