Collographs and paintings by Afro-Cuban artist Choco.
RECEPTION: Thursday, May 3, 6:30-8:30 PM.
Choco utilizes collography in his work, a printmaking technique in which the image is composed from a variety of textured materials placed on a plate, then inked and pressed. These materials, often discarded remnants, are recycled by Choco and turned into vibrant images that beckon to be touched. In the Upper Gallery
