A Night of Collaboration!
April 28, 2012
The Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra, led by music director Federico Cortese, is the premier symphony on campus. Founded in 1808, we are the first and oldest orchestra in North America.
Andrew Clark, music director of the Holden Choruses, and Dr.Kevin Leong, chorus master of the Holden Choruses, will join HRO for a collaboration concert you don't want to miss! Embark on an exciting program of Debussy's Images pour Orchestre: II. Iberia and Ravel's Daphnis et Chloe in collaboration with the Harvard Holden Choruses: the Radcliffe Choral Society, the Harvard Glee Club, and the Harvard-Radcliffe Collegium Musicum! In addition, HRO will feature the dramatic and beloved Brahms Violin Concerto with Julia Glenn, a winner of the 2011-2012 James Yannatos Concerto Competition.
This concert is a featured event of the Harvard ArtsFirst Festival.
