    This year, to mark the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, the Massachusetts Military Heroes Fund will be planting 33,000 flags at the Soldiers and Sailors Monument to represent every brave Massachusetts service member who gave his or her life defending our country since the Civil War. The completed garden is a breathtaking tribute to the true meaning of Memorial Day and a powerful message of community support to the families of these fallen...

    General Day and Time Info:

    Flags will be planted on Wednesday, May 23rd beginning at 1pm.
    There will be a name reading ceremony on Thursday, May 24th at 10:30am.
    Flags will be removed on Monday, May 28th at 6pm.
