Riverfest is a celebration of the wonderful resources, both natural and artistic that run though the heart of Waltham. We hope to bring hundreds if not thousands of adults as well as children to the downtown for music, dancing, painting, strolling, shopping, eating, and boating. There will be wrist bands sold which will get you discounts on food and merchandise at local stores and restaurants. You can participate in Paint the River, our Silent Auction, and see many vendors showing wares as well.
This year there will be new and exciting additions to the music and entertainment. The Moody Street Bridge will have Art Vendors along the length of it on Saturday.
There will be a Guided Nature Walk hosted by the Waltham Land Trust that will depart from the Family Activity/Footbridge area of Landry Park at Noon on Sunday the 17th. We'll walk downstream for about 45 minutes, then turn around and head back, returning well in time for the River Ceremony at 2pm.
If you can volunteer to help at the event we need help in many capacities to make this event a big success. Also, let us know if you want to participate in Art Windows, Paint the River, or can donate items or gift certificates to our silent auction. Please CONTACT US and you will be participating in a fun and meaningful event for Waltham. Thank You, and hope to see you at Riverfest!
VENDORS - This year we will have vendor booths located at on the Moody Street Bridge and overflow in Landry Park. We also need food trucks with unique fare. If you are an interested Vendor and wish to sell your wares at Waltham Riverfest, please fill out the form that you can find on our website
