Presented by the BOSTON SWING DANCE NETWORK - Dance to LIVE MUSIC every month! The Boston Swing Dance Network (BSDN) is the biggest and longest-running swing dance in Boston. Every monthly dance begins with a beginners' swing dance lesson from 8-9pm (included in the price of your admission), followed by dancing till midnight. THE SWING LEGACY, led by pianist Henry "thins" Francis and featuring their fantastic vocalist Debby Larkin, provides the authentic style, elegance, and excitement of a big band. They are essentially a little big band -- their exciting original arrangements produce a polished big-band sound and make the group sound much larger than their six pieces. Their repertoire concentrates on classic big-band swing music (Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Glenn Miller, etc). It promises to be a fun night. No partner necessary, and beginners are always welcome.
