    Join the Peabody Historical Society and the Peabody Art Association for a springtime celebration of shoes, history, and art! Experience beautiful new works of art inspired by, and placed alongside, antique shoes from the Society's collection. This exhibition will feature a selection of period shoes from the 19th through the 20th centuries, as well as shoe-themed works in all media by members of the Peabody Art Association and Peabody Historical Society. Join us for the opening reception to meet the artists and enjoy light refreshments, and don't forget to wear your favorite pair of shoes!



    On view June 24 - August 31, 2012, Tuesday-Friday, 10 am - 3 pm and the 1st & 3rd Sunday of each month, 12-3 pm at the Cassidy Museum and Gideon Foster House, 33 & 35 Washington St., Peabody.
