The Halalisa Singers, the 30 voice SATB world music vocal ensemble of Greater Boston, announces auditions for the spring 2012 concerts. We welcome experienced singers in all sections, especially basses, who love to sing and enjoy the challenge of singing in diverse languages and styles. Audition by appointment Monday, June 11th. Monday evening rehearsals at the Hancock Church, 1912 Mass. Ave., Lexington. Meet with the Artistic Director to check your range, some basic warm-ups, sing a prepared song of your choosing and do a bit of sightreading from 2 selections from our fall repertoire.
