    Boston International Ballet Competition is back!


    Last year, nearly 100 dancers, ages 13 to 25, hailing from 24 countries around the world, competed for company contracts, scholarships, monetary rewards and more. Judged by a panel of renowned ballet figures, headed by Mikko Nissinen, Artistic Director of Boston Ballet, dancers are required to perform both classical and contemporary pieces through three elimination...

    Boston International Ballet Competition is back!


    Last year, nearly 100 dancers, ages 13 to 25, hailing from 24 countries around the world, competed for company contracts, scholarships, monetary rewards and more. Judged by a panel of renowned ballet figures, headed by Mikko Nissinen, Artistic Director of Boston Ballet, dancers are required to perform both classical and contemporary pieces through three elimination rounds.

    Friday, June 15th: 2 PM: Opening Ceremony; 3 PM Competition Starts.

    Saturday, June 16th: 10 AM: Competition Resumes (Competition lasts from 10am to approx. 6pm. Ticket good for all day.)

    Sunday June 17th: 10 AM: Competition Finals closing at 2 PM.

    Sunday June 17: 5:30 PM Prize Ceremony; 6 PM Gala Ceremony.

    Those who purchased a morning ticket at $25 to see the final round on Sunday, June 17th at 10 AM will have to buy another ticket to see the Prize Ceremony and/or the Gala.

    Tickets can be purchased for either the 10 AM Finals, the 5:30 PM Ceremony/Gala or both.

    BIBC is founded and directed by Valentina Kozlova, former principal dancer with the Bolshoi Ballet and New York City Ballet.
