Their current line-up consists of Ryan Walsh, David Bentley, Dave Bryson, Ryan Connelly, Brian Rutledge, and Nicholas Ward. Previously remarked by Pitchfork as the band that has a "knack for crafting fist-pumping anthems from absurdist word clusters", they've just released their third album, "No One Knows What Happens Next" in May 2012. St. Helena features founder and primary writer Patrick Teahan on guitar and vocals, Berklee alumni Magen Tracy on keyboards and vocals, Mike Ward on guitar, Keith Wales on bass and vocals, and James Willetts on drums. They have just released their newest album, Modern Tan, that highlights the band’s intelligent lyricism and broad dynamic range; brought to life with their signature dueling male and female vocals, lush harmonies and arrangements, and blistering guitar lines. Dan HL, another Berklee alumni, is most noted for his crisp, soulful, unique voice, and his ability to write songs that are both honest and singable. He also plays guitar and harmonica, and has shared the stage with many notable artists- with his most recent success as frontman for Dear Havanah, performing with acts that include Alan Evans of Soulive, and Blackthought of The Roots.
