    "Fabrics of Meaning"

    Presented by

    June 18 - August 31, 2012

VSA Massachusetts presents the talented work of Marian Brown in her "Fabrics of Meaning" exhibition. Marian explores the fluid nature of identity with a series of works made from paper created with fabric gathered from family members. This exhibit represents the fibers of Marian’s family; how they transcend physical space, and the definition of place. The use of physical location acted as a “jumping off point” with which to articulate this diverse and expansive family.
