    Family Concert - A Pirate's Life

    The Boston Civic Symphony, Max Hobart, conductor, presents their annual Family Concert, "A Pirate's Life," on Sunday, October 14, 2:00 p.m. at conveniently located Regis College in Weston. The orchestra will perform music from "Hook," "Pirates of the Caribbean," and "The Black Pearl. WBZ Radio personality Jordan Rich will host and narrate Alan Feinstein's "The Little Engine That Could," based on the classic book by Watty Piper. Guest artists will be music students from Weston High School, and 12 year old cellist Zlatomir Fung, winner of the orchestra's 2012 James R. Powers Concerto Competition.
    An instrument petting zoo begins at 1:00 p.m. and free refreshments will be served.
