    Sunrise, Triumph of Lightness, & Winter Dreams

    The Boston Civic Symphony, Max Hobart, conductor, presents a concert at NEC's Jordan Hall, on Sunday, November 11, 2:00 p.m. Local composer Larry Bell's "Triumph of Lightness" cello concerto will receive its world premiere with Sam Ou, soloist. Also on the program will be Arlene Zallman's "Quasi una Serenata," Nielsen’s "Helios Overture," which depicts the sun rising and setting over the Aegean Sea, and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 1, known as Winter Dreams.
