Anne of Green Gables is a musical based on the book by Lucy Maud Montgomery. Anne, an orphan brought to Prince Edward Island by the elderly Cuthbert siblings (they were looking for a boy), is bright and quick, eager to please, talkative, and extremely imaginative. She takes much joy in life, and adapts quickly, thriving in the close-knit farming village. A beloved book and a story rich with character and event.
