An evening where Sylvia Plath, Lord Alfred Tennyson, baroque court dances, and love affairs come together in dance, Vacanti Ballets features a sizzling international cast and guest companies North Atlantic Ballet and LeeRoc Dance. Thomas Vacanti presents two of his newest ballets, Rinforzare, a contemporary look at baroque court dances, and The Crimson Petal, a collaborative venture between Vacanti and video designer Mark Piaget which interprets Tennyson's poem "Now Sleeps the Crimson Petal". North Atlantic Ballet performs Director Lucy Warren Whitman's A Sum of Volitions, a ballet about reactions to obstacles in relationship. LeeRoc Dance premieres its newest work inspired by the Sylvia Plath poem "Mad Girl’s Love Song."
