Elemental Portraits ~ Nocturnes for Two Pianos by Kirk Whipple Duo Pianists Kirk Whipple and Marilyn Morales perform Whipple’s original romantic works for two pianos. Steve Tinkham and James Dolan will perform the first nocturne, “Elegy for Kosal Long ~ Sunset at Ilsanjo.” Noted visual artists, including Onset painter Josie Thoms, will show original works inspired by the nocturnes. A special performance by pianists Chris Brown and Suzanne Sheppard of Ms. Sheppard’s original composition for two pianos “Talkata” will also be featured with other works.
