In this exciting, high-energy class, students will learn fun hip hop routines while being introduced to a variety of styles such as steppin’, stompin’, poppin’, lockin’, wavin’, toprockin’, video, and some simple break dance floor work. Each class will begin with a safe warm-up that focuses the mind and prepares the body for dance. With a teaching style that is energetic, patient, and encouraging, the experienced dance teacher will help students develop their creativity and confidence as they build strength, flexibility and coordination - all while having a blast!
WHAT TO WEAR: Students should wear sweatpants and a sports top or T-shirt with sneakers. Clothes do not have to be form-fitting, but should not be too baggy. Long hair must be tied back.
