The Singing Bowl is pleased to present Holly Near in our Summer 2012 event in Concord, MA. at the Emerson Umbrella Center for the Arts, 40 Stow St. Concord, MA 01742. Holly Near is a unique combination of entertainer, teacher, and activist. An immense vocal talent, Near's career as a singer has been defined by an unwillingness to separate her passion for music from her passion for human dignity. She is a skilled performer and an outspoken ambassador for peace who brings to the stage an integration of world consciousness, spiritual discovery, and theatricality. Our evening will highlight the work of The Virginia Thurston Healing Garden, a therapeutic environment supporting people affected by breast cancer. Proceeds from the concert will be donated to The Healing Garden. Come to learn more and be inspired!
