Artist Dan Kwong will present a work focusing on the challenges of single motherhood. Center of the Universe is a tribute to mothers who have been affected by the oppressions of sexism, racism, and classism. Using the life story of his late mother, Kwong combines personal narrative contextualized within post-WWII American culture.
