    “What I Did For Love: The Powerful Brother/Sister Bond ” Directed by Fran Weinberg

    The teens in the advanced performance acting intensive have explored the powerful dynamics and highly charged emotional bond in the relationship between brothers and sisters. Voice, movement and acting work will be presented through poetry, monologues and scenes from the following selections: a play about a chilling historical incident in 1933 France (Wendy Kesselman’s “My Sister In This House”), a classic play set in America’s heartland about love and hope (N. Richard Nash’s “The Rainmaker”), and a modern play set in Massachusetts written collaboratively by some of the contemporary theatre’s most talented playwrights (Joan Ackermann’s “Back Story”). Students Featured: Sirena Abalian, George Capalbo, Julie Campbell, Drew Hawkinson, Eva Murray, Joanna Rosen, Anna Schuliger, Emily Sheeran, Imani Sherley, Tim Travesy, Cameron Wade, and Rebecca Williams.
