WUMB 91.9 FM, Boston’s NPR music station, and Berklee College of Music have teamed up to present a new concert series bringing free live music to Dorchester every Sunday in August. The concerts feature Berklee student and alumni groups performing acoustic sets. Fox Point Music Series is part of Berklee Summer in the City presented by Natixis Global Asset Management. Herego is an indie/folk/rock duo self-described as “Simon and Garfunkel meets Tim Burton meets your mother.” Erin Casey had come to a creative standstill, so she left small town life for Boston. Chris Carlberg left acting behind in Los Angeles in search of a musical passion he felt was calling. Packing up every instrument he owned, he also landed in Boston. Together, Casey and Carlberg formed a solid friendship and began a journey as a musical duo.
