With the release of the upcoming Expendables 2, we got caught up in a internet mini-meme and started thinking about who would have been cast if The Expendables had been made in the 70s rather than now. The actors who first came to mind populate this weekend’s films – Michael Caine, Lee Marvin, Clint Eastwood, Richard Roundtree, Steve McQueen and, of course, Charles Bronson.
