Discovery Ensemble’s former concertmaster, Joshua Weilerstein is a true music superstar in the making.

A distinguished graduate of the New England Conservatory, Mr. Weilerstein is a virtuosic violinist as well as a rising conducting star. Currently Assistant Conductor of the New York Philharmonic, he recently made his conducting debuts with the Toronto Symphony, Houston Symphony, Oslo Philharmonic, Frankfurt Radio Symphony, and the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie, among others.

His performance of Piazzolla’s The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires will most certainly be a highlight of Discovery Ensemble’s 2012-13 Season.
