A Brooklyn-based indie folk rock duo, Barnaby Bright have garnered high accolades for their lyrically captivating and impeccably balanced songwriting and sound. Two-time finalists in the prestigious New York Song Circle Contest, Barnaby Bright was awarded the Grand Prize Winner in November 2010 for their song, “Don’t Look Down.” The duo self-produced their first album, “Wake The Hero,” garnering recognition as an “Emerging Artist” at the legendary Falcon Ridge Folk Festival in July 2010, and were one of only four artists voted to return in 2011 as a featured performer. Their music has been featured on ER, Days of Our Lives, and Roadtrip Nation, and the catchy, melodic “If I Came Back As a Song” placed third in 2007’s International Song-Writing Competition. They have toured all over the US and Europe, dazzling fans with unique instrumentation, powerful harmonies, intelligent lyrics, and genuine warmth on stage. Inspired by literature, life, human behavior, and a hint of fantasy, Barnaby Bright is a classic vision of timeless indie folk rock in all its glory.

Indie rock/alternative country singer/songwriter Brad Byrd grew up along Massachusetts rural north shore. Influenced by his parents healthy appetite for The Beatles and John Denver as a young child, and often jamming on the drums with his younger brother for hours as a teenager in the basement, Brad caught the bug early. The prolific artist has been crafting and producing hooky, soulful, timeless, left of center indie rock pop songs, reflecting his observations of the human condition, consistently since he was 21 years old.

If Suzie Brown had an anthem, it’d have to be the twangy “Heartstrings,” off her same-named debut. A string-soaked ode to unrequited love, the debut single delicately marked her transition from Harvard-educated cardiologist to singer-songwriter, now musing on matters of the heart. In the three years since making good on her extracurricular activity, she’s been named the Best of Philly by Philadelphia magazine and opened for such kindred spirits as Lyle Lovett. And if her name doesn’t ring a bell, her first single will- Picked up by the Play Network, “Heartstrings” can currently be heard soulfully wafting through stores nationwide.
