The Man Who Photographed the Man at the Wheel

Philip Storey of Gloucester has been collecting the output of Louis Blend, an amateur photographer who shot thousands of photos of tourists with Gloucester’s Man at the Wheel statue between the years 1923 and 1973. Storey will present a “snapshot” of this unique and underexposed facet of Gloucester lore. This program is free with Museum admission.
