Juventas New Music Ensemble presents three generations of living Boston composers in the same concert. On Friday September 21st and Saturday September 22nd, Juventas presents Emerge: New Music and Its Origins, an annual exploration of young composers and their influences.

This year, Juventas celebrates its six years of residency at The Boston Conservatory by showcasing works by BoCo affiliates.

With three generations of living, Boston-based composers, Emerge will allow an audience to hear the musical torch passed from generation to generation, with young composers both carrying forth and developing existing traditions, while also breaking out and starting new ones.
