    The Weckmann Project

The Weckmann Project began when seven Boston-based musicians got together to read the rarely played works of Matthias Weckmann, who wrote some of the most beautiful and difficult chamber music of the 17th century. After a wonderfully received inaugural concert last spring, the ensemble returns with more seventeenth century music, including works by Gabrielli, Schmelzer, Hammerschmidt, and of course, Weckmann!
