Free afternoon concert at Hyannis Harbor Saturday, September 15th, 2012-UNITED STATES AIR FORCE JAZZ COMBO Take in the sites of a working harbor front with the sounds of smooth jazz!   The United States Air Force Liberty Jazz Combo will perform at the Hyannis Harbor Artist Shanties on Ocean Street Hyannis, at 2PM on Saturday, September, 15th. (180 Ocean Street, next to the Bismore Park Visitor Center).   The United States Air Force Liberty Jazz Combo is dedicated to spreading the Air Force Message of excellence and integrity through the language of Jazz. This four piece ensemble specializes in playing music that is both fun to play and fun to listen to and strives to preserve the American heritage through the artistry of improvised music in a new and modern way. The band has a repertoire of modern treatments of older musical gems as well as original jazz works.   The program is free and open to the public. The performance begins at 2pm on the boardwalk of the artist shanties, located on Ocean Street, Hyannis. Guests should feel free to bring beach chairs and blankets as there is no formal seating in the area.
