Classics, a World Premiere by Dan Shore, and French Arias with Sean Lair

For our fifth season, the FCO presents only ONE concert, on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2:30-4:15 PM at Old South Church, conveniently located right in Copley Square. For the first time, we will perform in the 850-seat sanctuary. The program includes:
Haydn Symphony No. 45, Farewell
Mozart Oboe Concerto in C, featuring Nathan Swain, soloist
Dan Shore: Bergen Variations (world premiere with composer in attendance)
Berlioz, Delibes, Halévy, and Donizetti:
French Arias sung by Sean Lair, Tenor, accompanied by Peter Freisinger, Piano
We welcome our core audience, and also new listeners. Our innovative programs brought us to the finals of the American Prize. Please come with many friends to this varied and exciting program, played by enthusiastic young professionals from the many music schools here in Boston.
