    In The Upper Gallery: TRANSIT OF VENUS. Sylvia Stagg-Giuliano September 7–December 26, 2012, Upper Gallery. Gallery reception: Thursday, October 11, 2012, from 6–8PM. An exhibition of evocative, highly stylized photographs of dancers performing dance/theater pieces about the rich inner lives and complex relationships of two (apparently) different sets of women—young 19th-century brothel workers and elderly rural church ladies. Both works were choreographed by Diane Arvanites and Tommy Neblett, creators and artistic co-directors of Prometheus Dance and the Prometheus Dance Elders Ensemble.
