    The Newton Farmer’s Market: Celebrating a Third of a Century!

    Opening in War Memorial Circle at City Hall in 1980, the Newton Farmer’s Market has grown and flourished over the last 33 years. Now a community event with two locations—Cold Spring Park and American Legion Post 440—the Market offers local farm fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, baked goods, preserves, and more. Join the Parks and Recreation Department in celebrating the fruitful history of their Farmer’s Market program at this opening celebration.
