Argento Ensemble plays Harvard Composers

New York's Argento Ensemble plays new works by members of the Harvard Group for New Music at Harvard's Paine Concert Hall. Hailed as “an essential source of adventurous new music” by Alex Ross, Argento consists of nine dedicated members, touring widely in the US and abroad. Their recent CD of Tristan Murail's music won the Record Geijutsu Record Academy Award for new music. They will play new works by Trevor Baca, Edgar Barroso, Ann Cleare, Timothy McCormack, Marek Poliks, Ian Power, and Sabrina Schroeder. Reception to follow.
