FRESH PROSPECTS is a showcase of the best up-and-coming college artists throughout Boston, at Berklee and beyond.

This October we will be featuring The Soul of a Man and Melissa Myatt.

The Soul of a Man seamlessly blends Soul, R&B, Blues, and Jazz into a very intense and emotional package. Based out of Boston, MA, The Soul of a Man has received the praise of Charles Neville (The Neville Bros.) and have opened for groups such as the Dirty Dozen Brass Band. This eight piece band is a must see, and a must hear experience for everybody.

She's the real thing, Melissa Myatt. A singer/songwriter with a soulful range that belies the petite frame one sees on stage, belting out mighty, moving, meaningful original tunes.
In an age of disposable songs and second-rate singers mired in hype, Melissa Myatt soars beyond the crowd. She transcends the current singer/songwriter scene, defies easy categorization, and shines as a profoundly unique and original artist. She's a true breath of fresh air for music lovers longing for an alternative sound.
