We are thrilled to present “Voyeur”, a new work by Bridgman/Packer Dance Company which pushes the dancers exploration of the live and virtual into new territory choreographically, thematically and technologically. With the iconic imagery of the paintings of Edward Hopper as a point of departure, the work looks at the role of the audience as voyeur, witnessing virtual and real fragments of private moments and inner lives.

Guggenheim Fellows in Choreography, Art Bridgman and Myrna Packer have collaborates as performers and choreographers since 1978. Their innovative work developing “video partnering”- the total integration of live performance and video techonology- has been acclaimed for exploding the duet form into a magically populated stage where image and reality collide. A master class with members of the Bridgman/Packer Dance Company will be held at the Rogers Center for the Arts at a time to be announced. Please call the box office for more information.
