Shudder Fest is a two day event in October to celebrate the Halloween season with horror features and short films. Fri, Oct 26 7 pm - I Am A Ghost (2012) - HP Mendoza's psychological ghost story in the vein of Polanski and DePalma. 10 pm - American Mary (2012) - Jen & Sylvia Soska's tale of a promising medical student's descent into the world of underground surgery. Stars Katharine Isabelle. w/Stella Buio Midnight - Murder University (2012) - Richard Griffin's ode to 80's slasher whodunits. Shot in Providence! w/Vicki Saturday, Oct 27 7 PM - Short Film Program (2012) - a selection of the finest short films we've received this past year. Expect monsters, ghosts, zombies, your boss, your landlord, and any number of horrible beasts. Titles TBA. 9 PM -Video Diary of a Lost Girl (2012) - Lindsay Denniberg's surreal horror fantasy that must be seen to be believed! It's a super stylish love story inspired as much by 80's MTV as Dr. Caligari.
