    Mostly Waltz

Mostly Waltz offers dancers from all disciplines a chance to enjoy a wide variety of waltz styles and tempos to (usually) live music. Two of every three numbers are waltzes, interspersed with other favorite couple dances frequently done at contra, folk, and vintage events (such as polka, swing, tango, hambo, etc.). Singles and couples welcome. Most dancers change partners often.

Each dance includes a lesson in waltz basics, figures, or styles from 2 to 3 pm, along with an intermediate-level "cool move" or other dance variations taught during the band break.

Note: Nov 11 features special workshops in cross-step waltz (beg. 2-2:50, int. 3-4:20) followed by open dancing from 4:30 - 5:30.
