The Makanda Project continues its series of concerts at the Dudley Library.  Special guest will be trumpeter Eddie Allen, who has performed with Makanda Ken McIntyre and many other jazz greats including Art Blakey, Dizzy Gillespie, Billy Harper, and Lester Bowie.  The band will also include Kurtis Rivers, Arni Cheatham, Lance Bryant, and Charlie Kohlhase (saxophones); Jerry Sabatini (trumpet); Robert Stringer and Bill Lowe (trombones); Diane Richardson (voice); John Kordalewski (piano); John Lockwood (bass); and Yoron Israel (drums).  There will also be live painting sponsored by MassArt's sparc! the ArtMobile.
